The Use of Technology

Have we really paid attention to how technology has changed our habits of:
How often we reach for our phones, to recall a phone number, a previously booked appointment, scheduled PTM meeting, an upcoming event alarm, to renew a subscription. Many would say these are very helpful features of a device where I don't need to keep a track of so many reminders, the question is very obvious, is this over-correction, are we over relying on technology?
A mindless occupation with short duration videos gives a hit of dopamine in a way that is becoming addictive to kids, adults and elderly alike because no one thinks it is dangerous, no one sees this as addiction. This dopamine makes it hard to complete mundane tasks like daily chores. Has anyone noticed people driving vehicles also along with watching reels and crossed a red light? Has anyone noticed children keep to themselves as they put little effort in making friends?
This is just to remind us all that we are losing what is most unique about us: our highly developed brain capabilities and communication.
